Purim Ecstasy is a compilation of ten songs that are great for the month of Adar and Purim, and it's actually good listening for all year long!
The album has six Purim songs, taken from the, "Live in Jerusalem," album. There are two anti drug songs from, "Madly in Love," and two militant songs from, "Biblical Revenge," Plus two funny advertisements for Quality Carpet and Travelers' Choice.
Shurin and Purim are close enough in sound, and singer-composer Aaron Razel believes that Shurin's soul season is the season of purim and Adar, when one approaches his maker through Tshuva May'Ahava, repentance through 'love.'
And this too is what the listener feels when he or she lets this album lead them to higher realms of G-d worship.
