Madly in Love With the One Above. Dov returned to making music albums after a fifteen year break with the release of his amazing 1999 album titled, "Madly in Love With the One Above."

The album feature's 12 new songs, each one expressing another aspect of his wild love for his Maker!

The first song, Me Ya'aleh, was written for the great Singer and composer, Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach, shortly after Reb Shlomo's death. The song Gal Einai is a hauntingly beautiful prayer for receiving the secrets of the Torah.

The song, "I'm a Jew," the title song of the album, is the bursting exuberant experience of loving Hashem, which inspired the song, "Hakadosh Barachu Hu we Love You."

This preceded the fad of the popular Israeli bumper stickers, "Hakodosh Baruch hu, anachnu Ohavim Odcha."

Song # four zachreni Na, is the original version of what has become one of the most popular songs in Israel and the entire Jewish world. The words of the strong man and ancient judge, Samson the mighty, titled "Zachreni Na." To date, the song has been recorded by at least 15 artists and includes even a 'trance' version. And the song, "My Heart is in Hebron," was borrowed by a popular collection of songs for the city of Hebron titled, "Song of Songs of Hebron."

The album is addicting with listeners claiming that when it ends, all they want to do is hear it again!

With this album, Dov started to also be the arranger of all his future musical works. The musicians were hand picked, forming the "Zion Square Band."

This album of 8 Hebrew songs and four English songs, in Dov's opinion, can not be beat, and his own goal with future albums is to be able to match the beauty of this work of art! This album is simply 'a must' for everyone's Jewish Music Collection!
