This album of songs and torahs of Shlomo Carlebach, with Dov Shurin as
moderator, was recorded in 1985, on Mount Zion, Jerusalem, but it was
only released in 2000, by Dov Shurin, in an effort to share the
amazing personality of Shlomo with as many people as possible.
The album features torahs about the deeper importance of the Holy
City, the deeper power of Shabbat, the difference between Moshiach ben
David and Moshiach ben Yoseph.
Shlomo reenacts his unique 'Kiddush Levana' and sings "Dovid Melech,"
which was created during one of these ceremonies.
Shlomo tells a story of how, on the night that he composed "Shivchi
Kamayim," he used it for kiruv in the most perverted part of Paris!
Dov ads his own title song, You Are With Me," Which he composed
shortly after Shlomo's death, along with "Me Yaaleh," also composed
for Shlomo.
